BARBRA SHIRLEY BERNICE JOWETT (nee GRAY) 1930 - 2003 Peacefully on Thursday, September 18, 2003 Barbra passed away with her husband at her side. Barbra leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memory, her husband of forty-nine years Frank, and her son Darren. Barbra was predeceased by her son Glenn. She will also be missed by her two grandsons, Matthew and Adam; brother Walter Gray; sisters, Eleanora Moore, Dorothy Lawrence; niece Colleen; great-nephew Richard; as well as her sister-in-law Vickie Jowett; brothers-in-law, Harold (Margie) and Ed (Marcia) Jowett; and all the Jowett nieces and nephews. Barbra was a people person, truly happy with many people around her. A holiday for her was not going places but rather seeing people, both friends and relatives. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Wish Foundation, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2.
